Information on the right to withdraw from a distance contract

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded in the Online Shop within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you took possession of the goods or on which a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you took possession of the goods. To exercise your right to withdraw from the contract, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by post or email). You may send the statement:

A sample withdrawal form is included in Annex 2 to the Consumer Rights Act and is also available for download below. You may use the sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the deadline for withdrawing from the contract, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your exercise of the right to withdraw from the contract before the withdrawal period expires.

In the event of withdrawal from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us), without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we were informed of your decision to exercise your right to withdraw from this contract. We will refund the payment using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods.

If you have received the goods, please return them to us at the following address: Besco Sp. z o.o., ul. Kościelna 21, 38-524 Besko, Poland, without delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your withdrawal from the contract. The deadline is met if you post the goods back before the 14-day period expires. You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling them in a manner other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. The right of withdrawal is excluded for any Customer in the case of a contract where the subject of the supply is a Product manufactured to the Customer’s specifications, i.e. the Besco BeSafe anti-slip coating, a freestanding bath in any colour from the RAL palette (excluding black), the Besco Glam Illume Coat, or the Besco Linea decorative strip.

The provisions contained in this notice concerning the consumer shall apply from 1 January 2021 and, for contracts concluded from that date, also to a buyer who is a natural person entering into a contract directly related to their business activity, where it is apparent from the content of that contract that it is not of a professional nature for that person, arising in particular from the nature of their business activity, as disclosed under the provisions on the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity.
